Abstracts of all doctoral theses (Ph D and Sc D) will be submitted to Pro Quest/UMI for inclusion in their publication and submit it, along with an extra copy of the thesis title page and abstract, with the archival copy of his or her thesis Students receiving advanced degrees from MIT are required to pay a library processing fee: 5.00 for a doctoral thesis ( for processing and for the Pro Quest/UMI abstract fee) and .00 for all other advanced-degree theses.
